After graduating from Kanazawa College of Art in 2008, Yokozeki Ryota began his career at an electrical appliance company in Tokyo, where he refined his skills in product design and engineering. While working there, he also pursued independent projects, exhibiting his designs at major events such as Milano Salone. His Aizome Chair, exhibited in Milan in 2016, was recognized for its exceptional craftsmanship and selected for the Vitra Design Museum collection.
In 2017, after a decade of industry experience, he founded Ryota Yokozeki Studio, focusing on the relationship between form and human experience. His design philosophy emphasizes fresh, beautiful, and engaging shapes that encourage new ways of interaction. His creations seek to offer not only functional value but also an emotional and sensory connection for the user.
